Zmęczeni, ale wyjątkowo zadowoleni i spełnieni kończymy rejs, który stał się naszą naprawdę wielką przygodą. Trwała ona w sumie z przerwami ponad 8 miesięcy! Rozpoczęła się przecież we wrześniu 2007 (a właściwie o wiele, wiele wcześniej w głowie Wojtka, kiedy to zaczął planować to niecodzienne przedsięwzięcie).
Przeżyliśmy wspólnie wiele fascynujących chwil, zdobyliśmy sporo nowych doświadczeń i niepotrzebnych na codzień umiejętności.
Dziękujemy sobie nawzajem za ten z przyjemnością wspólnie spędzony czas.
A przecież były momenty podczas których odczuwaliśmy normalny strach. Gdy wiatr przeraźliwie gwizdał w olinowaniu, gdy woda lała się na nas z góry (słodka) i z dołu (słona), gdy trudno było utrzymać w rękach koło sterowe. Gdy w środku ciemnej nocy przemoczeni wszyscy w trójkę zajmowaliśmy się zakładaniem trzeciego refu …
Właśnie wszystkie te chwile powodowały jeszcze większą wyjątkowość naszego przedsięwzięcia i zahartowały nas nie tylko jako żeglarzy.
Mamy również w pamięci inne, nie mniej emocjonalne, lecz o wiele spokojniejsze chwile: wspólne, wykwintne kolacje na pokładzie, przygotowane przez Czarka w niewyobrażalnie trudnych warunkach kiwającej się mesy; własne, nocne kontemplacje pod rozgwieżdżonym niebem…
W sumie, we wszystkich trzech etapach naszego rejsu przepłynęliśmy (według naszych skrupulatnych wyliczeń) 8 731 mil morskich, to jest ponad 16 tys. km. Zważywszy normalną prędkość jachtu, jest to naprawdę niemało!
Odwiedziliśmy 9 portów, wypiliśmy ponad 250 butelek czerwonego wina…
A już powstały w naszych głowach nowe plany, które chciałoby się wspólnie zrealizować.
Dziękujemy wszystkim, od których dostaliśmy miłe słowa otuchy…

Tired, but extremely happy and fulfilled, we end our voyage – a true great adventure for all of us. It took, counting the breaks, over 8 months! It started, after all, in September 2007 (or, rather, much earlier, in Wojtek’s head, when he started to plan this exceptional undertaking).
We have lived together through many fascinating moments, we have gained many new experiences (granted, not always very useful in our everyday lives).
We thank each other for this great time together.
And, yet, there were times when we felt actual fear. When the wind was howling in the rigging, when the water was pouring from above (fresh) and from below (salty), when it was difficult to hold onto the steering wheel. When in the middle of the night all three of us were working on the third reef…
These were, in fact, the moments which made our undertaking even more unique and hardened us not only as sailors.
We also keep in mind other, less emotional, much calmer moments: elegant dinners together with delicious food prepared by Czarek under hard to imagine, difficult rolling conditions below the deck; or our private contemplations during the nights under beautiful starry skies…
All in all, according to our diligent calculations, during the three phases of our voyage we covered 8,731 nautical miles, i.e., over 16 thousand kilometers. Considering an average speed of a sailing yacht, it’s quite a lot indeed! We visited 9 ports, drank 250 bottles of red wine…
And already new plans are being conceived in our minds about other challenging undertakings to attack together.

Fatigués, mais très contents et satisfaits, nous finissons notre double transat qui est devenue une vraie et grande aventure. Elle aura duré au total plus de 8 mois avec quelques pauses. Elle avait, n’oublions pas, commencé en Septembre 2007 (et en vérité bien plus tôt dans la tête de Wojtek lorsqu’il a commencé à la plannifier).
Nous avons vecu ensemble des moments fascinants, nous avons acquis des nouvelles expériences et des capacités totalement inutiles au quotidien.
Nous nous remercions mutuellement pour tous ces instants passés ensemble.
Et pourtant il y a bien eu des moments où on a ressenti tout simplement la peur. Lorsque le vent sifflait terriblement dans le grément et l’eau (douce) nous innondait du haut tandis que l’eau (salé) jaillissait sur nous d’en bas, et on avait beaucoup de mal à controler la barre. Lorsqu’en plein milieu d’une nuit noire, complètement mouillés, nous nous occupions de prendre un 3-ème ris…
Ce sont justement tous ces instants qui ont fait notre periple encore plus exceptionnel et qui nous ont endurci, pas seuleument en qualité de navigateurs.
Nous gardons aussi en memoire d’autres moments, pas moins émouvants mais bien plus tranquilles : d’excellents dîners à bord, préparés par Tcharek dans des conditions inimaginablement difficiles, dans une cuisine penchante et dansante ; puis nos contemplations personnelles sousun ciel étoilé de nuit…
Au total les trois étapes de notre croisière nous avons parcouru (selon nos calculs minutieux) 8 731 miles nautiques, c’est ) dire plus de 16 000 kms. Cela fait pas mal, vu la vitesse moyenne du bateau ! Nous avons visité 9 ports et bu plus de 250 bouteilles de vin rouge…
Et déjà, dans nos têtes, nous avons d’autres projets à réaliser ensemble..
